How many balls fit in the tent?

The floor of the ball pit tent is covered with 200 balls, each 6cm in diameter.

Why are no balls included?

We deliberately do not include balls, as every family has different preferences regarding color, color combination, and quantity. This allows you to design the ball pit entirely according to your own taste.

Furthermore, the tent can also be used wonderfully as a play tent without balls – decorated comfortably with pillows, it instantly becomes a cozy retreat for playing, reading, and relaxing.

Cotton/hemp pop-up ball pit play tent

Product description

Our LIONHERZ® ball pit tent made of natural cotton-hemp fabric is a lovingly designed retreat and play area for children – lightweight, breathable, and wonderfully cozy.

Thanks to the practical pop-up function, the tent unfolds in just a few seconds and requires no poles or assembly. The large front opening can be closed at the bottom with velcro fasteners or gently rolled up and secured with a ribbon – perfect for open play or protected quiet time.

The surrounding mesh windows ensure good air circulation and allow for constant visual contact – an important aspect for safe, relaxed play.

The delicate pom-pom trim gives the ball pit tent its particularly charming LIONHERZ character and makes it a stylish highlight in the nursery.

Available in three harmonious colors, this ball pit tent perfectly complements our round play tent as well as our cotton-hemp play tunnel – for a cohesive, natural play area concept.

A harmonious game world – perfectly combinable

Our round play tent, the matching play tunnel, and the ball pit tent are made from the same high-quality cotton-hemp fabric and are available in identical, calm color tones. This creates a cohesive, natural play environment that blends harmoniously into the nursery.

Whether for a moment of retreat in the tent, movement through the tunnel, or active play in the ball pit – together, the elements open up versatile possibilities for imaginative and free play.

A well-thought-out set that fits together perfectly both visually and functionally – timeless, natural, and wonderfully combinable.

Fun without the mess

Ball pits are among those things that children love instantly – movement, laughter, and boundless imagination. For parents, however, this often means scattered balls throughout the room and constant tidying up.

Our LIONHERZ ball pit tent was designed exactly for this purpose. Thanks to its fully enclosed shape and closable door, the balls stay exactly where they belong: in your child's play area. This creates a protected space for free play while your home remains calm and tidy.

More carefree playtime for your child – and a noticeable relief in your everyday family life.

What does "psychologically valuable" mean?

muted colors

The world of children is already colorful enough. We value muted tones and intentionally use patterns sparingly so that your child can also find visual calm.

no electronics

Media literacy is already extensively addressed in kindergarten and school, so free play should be structured independently of electronic stimuli.

no noise

Due to the loud and hectic pace of everyday life, many children are overstimulated. We therefore consciously refrain from using music and sounds - for a restful moment of silence.

Roleplay opportunity

Children learn and explore by playfully slipping into different roles. We want to preserve children's creativity and fuel their imagination.

social interaction

Reliable social relationships are the cornerstone for optimal development. We would like to encourage playing together with parents and friends.

high quality

We make no compromises when it comes to quality and safety, and we examine all materials very carefully... for long-lasting, unclouded playtime fun.
